New volunteer management system streamlines clearance process

Whether you're a member of the community wanting to give back, a parent eager to assist in the classroom, or a potential volunteer coach, the Sumner-Bonney Lake School District welcomes volunteers!

To make the volunteer clearance process more convenient and efficient, we are transitioning to a new volunteer management system called Checkr. 

As part of this change, all parents and guardians who wish to volunteer — whether in the classroom, at events, or on field trips — will need to submit a new volunteer application in the updated system, even if your previous clearance has not yet expired.

All of our schools are able to clear volunteers. To get started, contact your school about volunteering. Learn more about the volunteer clearance process.
