About Us
The Sumner Early Learning Center serves kindergarten students who live in the attendance areas of Daffodil Valley and Maple Lawn elementary schools and is specifically designed to support young learners through scale and space. We follow the District promise to know, value and support every student, helping them graduate ready to pursue a promising future.

Support your child’s academic journey! Families are invited to Building Bridges from 5:30-7:30 pm on May 8 at Sumner Middle School. Gain practical tips in parent learning sessions, explore community resources, and provide feedback to shape future events.
Registration is now open for the 30th annual Community Summit on March 13. This free event features 6 breakout sessions, community resource displays and volunteer opportunities, a catered dinner, Unsung Hero awards, presentations and keynote speaker, Dr. Gene Sharratt.
You're invited to attend the choir festival with students across the district on Feb. 25 at Bonney Lake High School.
Since we have not had to cancel school due to inclement weather, there is no school on both Feb. 14, which was reserved for an emergency weather makeup day, and Feb. 17 (Presidents Day).
It's National School Counseling Week! Learn a bit about what our school counselors do.
Applications are due Feb. 21 for community members interested in serving. The committee will help provide transparency and accountability of the 2024 Bond Projects.
