Families of Sumner-Bonney Lake students in need can pick up backpacks, school supplies, and other resources at upcoming events in August.
Register for kindergarten
Do you know a child who will be five years old on or before Aug. 31? Kindergarten registration is now open for the 2026-27 school year.
Enrollment into the district is online. Visit our enrollment page for details on the three-step registration process. For more information, go to sumnersd.org/kindergarten.

Home of the Bees
The Sumner Early Learning Center serves kindergarten students who live in the attendance areas of Daffodil Valley and Maple Lawn elementary schools and is specifically designed to support young learners through scale and space.
School Hours:
Monday Late Start: 9:40 am - 3:10 pm
Tuesday-Friday: 8:35 am - 3:10 pm

Families can contribute a $25 donation per child to cover the cost of school supplies.

Free hot lunch is available for all children 18 years and younger throughout the summer at Daffodil Valley Elementary.

While schools will be closed during the summer, all other District offices will be open with some operating on a modified schedule.

Registration is now open for youth sports summer camps coordinated by Bonney Lake High School and Sumner High School.
