Elementary conferences: Early release March 25, 26
Elementary spring parent/teacher conferences are taking place March 25 and 26. On these days, elementary schools release students according to their early dismissal schedule, which varies by school. Breakfast and lunch will be served.
Register for kindergarten
Do you know a child who will be five years old on or before Aug. 31? Kindergarten registration is now open for the 2026-27 school year.
Enrollment into the district is online. Visit our enrollment page for details on the three-step registration process. For more information, go to sumnersd.org/kindergarten.
Community Cultural Celebration: March 28
Join us for our free annual Community Cultural Celebration as we honor the rich diversity that makes our district shine. Enjoy food, music, dance, art, performances, cultural booths, storytelling, crafts, student art, and more.

Home of the Bees
The Sumner Early Learning Center serves kindergarten students who live in the attendance areas of Daffodil Valley and Maple Lawn elementary schools and is specifically designed to support young learners through scale and space.
